Today we celebrate the birthdate of an english write who forever changed the fantasy fiction literature.In 1937 he published, The Hobbit, which later led to the publication of The Lord of The Rings novels.So let's celebrate for the father of the fantasy world.

A Christmas Carol was first published 167 years ago on December 19th in England.

I have endeavoured in this Ghostly little book, to raise the Ghost of an Idea, which shall not put my readers out of humour with themselves, with each other, with the season, or with me. May it haunt their houses pleasantly, and no one wish to lay it.

It is amazing how far a book can go.  Movies, musicals, plays, and much more are created from this classic story 167 years later. Charles Dickens should be a proud man :)
